Never trust unsolicited calls or messages

Scammers try every angle to steal your money and identity, including by spoofing as callers from financial institutions, insurance or affiliates.

If you receive a call that displays as HBCU on your phone or that claims to be from your credit union or any company, be suspicious and NEVER reveal personal info.

Please always remember:

We never call after hours — If you receive a call claiming to be from the credit union or a vendor outside of business hours, just hang up. We never call you after hours, so it’s a scammer.

We never ask for your info — We don’t contact you to ask for personal info, account numbers, security questions or passwords. We already know that information.

Do not reply in any way, and simply hang up the phone immediately. Call us back on our published number during business hours to let us know you’ve received a suspicious call claiming to be us.

The security of your accounts is our top concern, and we need your help to stop these scams. Please contact us if you have questions.
