Honoring Kolby Aipa

We are saddened by the tragic death of Huntington Beach resident Kolby Aipa.

Join the HB community in celebrating Kolby’s life at a paddle out ceremony:

Saturday, September 20 • 8 am
North side of pier near Lifeguard Tower 2

There will be surf coaches along the beach to help people decide whether they feel comfortable paddling out, or if they should watch from the pier.

Kolby was the son of legendary Hawaiian waterman, Duke Aipa, and the grandson of iconic surfboard shaper, Ben Aipa.

Huntington Beach Credit Union is also making a donation to the Kolby Aipa GoFundMe.
